Turkey Larb


  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • ½ red onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp avocado or vegetable oil

  • 1 chili chopped (serrano, jalapeno or thai chili)

  • 1 tbsp fish sauce

  • Juice of 3-4 limes depending on taste, plus 1 lime cut in wedges

  • 1-2 tsp sriracha sauce

  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro

  • ¼ cup chopped mint

  • ¼ cup chopped toasted peanuts * optional

  • ¼ wedge cabbage or one head of butter leaf lettuce


  1. In a pan, lightly saute onion, garlic, and chili in oil for 2 minutes. Add ground turkey to pan and cook through.

  2. In a small bowl, combine fish sauce, lime juice, and sriracha. Pour over turkey mixture and continue cooking for 5 more minutes

  3. Remove from heat, serve in a cabbage or lettuce cup, topped with chopped cilantro, mint, peanuts, and lime wedge
