Cindy has been a Strength Happens client for almost 20 years. When Cindy started she was a mother of 3 in her 40’s with no real athletic background. Since, then she has released the inner beast through training. She has trained and competed in an array of different sports. Initially interested in endurance sports we trained together for marathons, mountain biking, and Ironman. In recent years trained and competed in figure competitions. Cindy has demonstrated that Strength Happens in many ways and at different points in our lives. Proving that no matter what your experience Strength can Happens for anyone.
1. How long have you been doing the SH program?
Since its inception…I have been training with Mike for about 20 years…
2. What does strength happens mean to you, and how do you apply it to your day to day life?
I live the SH lifestyle! The program enables me to do the physical activities I love, and it gives me the mental confidence to know that I can do them. I like to race so knowing that I am mentally and physically prepared is a great feeling!
3. What activities do you like to do outside of the gym?
Just about anything fun and active…mountain and road biking, swimming, kayaking, hiking/running trails, and walking my dog.
